Divinity @ The Glass House Cafe

If only I didn’t have to go back to work I could have spent all afternoon sitting in the open and airy Glass House Café.

As we entered for lunch, smiles were thrown our way by several waiters on their way past with plates of food and we were greeted like long lost friends by the maître’d. Immediately shown our table, we were greeted by enthusiastic waiters, with plates of food in hand, he introduced himself and told us about the menu.

Three dishes were presented to us, one after the other, each dish chosen to complement the weather and time of day.

Cabinet Lounge Bar opens its doors

Manuka’s newest cocktail lounge bar, Cabinet is officially opening its doors to the public on Friday 10 February.

Launching just in time for the weekend, the downstairs lounge bar will commence a Spanish inspired tapas and beverage service, which will also be available exclusively for functions.

The bar boasts a unique selection of cocktails, ciders, wine, spirits and beer – perfect for a light meal whilst enjoying the atmosphere of the newly refurbished space.

Event Recap: Australia Celebrates Live Concert

Hosted on the grounds of Parliament House, Australia Celebrates Live showcased performances from Katie Noonan and the Captains, Sneaky Sound System, Spiderbait, The Potbelleez and crowd favourite, rock legends INXS. The event was the perfect precursor to one of the most celebrated days in the country.

Alongside the all-star line-up was Geoffery Rush who accepted the Australian of the Year award. He thanked his Australian fans far and wide, his appreciation for the privilege clear.
