Hilltop Hoods @ UC Refectory

On Thursday 16th August, Hill Top Hoods are hitting the stage at the University of Canberra’s Refectory.

This is going to be one of Australia’s most highly anticipated tours for 2012. Their #1 Platinum album, ‘Drinking from the Sun’ was certified Gold on the first day of release and retained the number one spot on the ARIA charts for two weeks.

Recap: Van She @ Zierholz

Picture this; It’s a Saturday night, 0 degrees outside, but inside Zierholz at the University of Canberra, things are heating up and Van She are about to take to the stage.

Tit for Tat hit the decks to open up the night and despite the small crowd, provided a fun and energetic set, which saw a few people make friends with the dance floor. Tucked away in the corner, the duo DJ’s provided some fun tunes before the main acts took the stage.

The May Lane Project

The May Lane Project is an outdoor gallery space located in St Peters in Sydney’s inner west and is coming to the Belconnen Arts Centre from 6th July to 12th August 2012.

The project started in 2005 as an initiative of Tugi Balog, a local businessman who turned the exterior walls on his business premises into a site-specific gallery for street artists.

exhibition showcases a selection of street created at May Lane between 2005 and 2009 by legendary Australia graffiti artists and celebrated international street artists.
