Hearty comfort food

As a long-time fan of Uni Pub since my student days, I can’t help but think it gets better each return visit, which sadly, isn’t nearly often enough.

Each floor provides oodles of entertainment from ages 18 to 80. Ground floor offers the perfect casual luncheon setting, or destination for Friday afternoon’s kick-back and relax drinks. The pool floor (free after p.m. Wednesdays!) has proved itself a familiar stomping ground to yours truly after a rather successful third date and, the top floor bar is young, contemporary and fun without oozing terrifying seediness.

Recap: Bone Thugs N Harmony @ Zierholz

Bone Thugs N Harmony, known as one of the greatest hip hop acts of all time amazed the crowd on Friday night at the University of Canberra bar, Zierholz. Supported by DJ Frags, Dlinkunt who was accompanied by a live band and Big Dave and Kitty Ball put on an unbelievable show.

Upon arrival at Zierholz the atmosphere was loud and pumped with DJ Frags and Dlinkunt playing to a welcoming crowd. With the live band accompanying Dlinkunt it gave an added buzz to the performance.

Recap: Mia Dyson @ The Abbey

Hidden away in Federation Square, Gold Creek, The Abbey hosted a wonderful evening of blues and roots music and an outstanding three-course meal. Mia Dyson was the headlining act and was supported by a talented fellow blues and roots singer, Simon Meli. The country rock reverberated beautifully off the high walls of the unique venue, and by candlelight the audience wined and dined at their tables, enjoying the intimate atmosphere.

Bone Thugs N Harmony

Bone Thugs N Harmony are coming to UC on Friday 21st September.

The multi award winning hip hop group from Cleveland, Ohio, burst onto the scene in mid-90s.

Bone Thugs N Harmony will be performing all their classic songs, plus some new material. The act is supported by Dirty South and Pry-C.
