Taste It Festival 2012 is almost over, so celebrate the end of this great food festival with these two fantastic events.

On Wednesday 14th November, celebrate Taste It Festival with a Beergustation at the Belgian Beer Café. Enjoy a five-course dinner with matching beers.

Try dishes such as the char-grilled braised lambs tongue with oven dried tomato, grilled Haloumi, olives and an apple balsamic, olive oil and parsley dressing, matched with Leffe Blonde.

Every guest will take home a gift at the end of the night.

Taste It Festival 2012 is more than half-way through and this week is packed with amazing dining Taste It experiences.

From Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th November, it is that time of the year for beers, bratwursts and fun! Oktoberfest is geared up to be a big one, spread out over three days.

Being held at Budawang Building at EPIC, tickets vary in price. Tickets cost $15 for Friday night, $20 for Saturday and $10 for Sunday.

Flint in the Vines is introducing Wednesday night dinners with a special deal.

For $29 you will receive a main meal and a glass of Flint wine, accompanied by live acoustic music from 6.30-830pm. You can sit on the terrace and watch the sun go down as you sip on a Riesling and join Flint in the Vines for some tunes and a great dinner deal.

Kicks Entertainment, OutInCanberra and Raw FM are proud to announce the winners of Foreshore Sound Search competition for 2012.

The Canberra Sound Search finals were held on Friday 26th October at Academy Club and the Wagga Sound Search finals were held on Saturday 27th October at Romano’s Hotel.

One act (either band or DJ) from each final was going to win a set at Foreshore. All of the acts were judged with the exact same criteria – crowd reaction and interaction, originality and skill.
