Tonight is the night. The coolest op-shop fashion parade is on, with Vinnies Vogue outfits styled by six local designers.
Six hundred Canberrans will be at Help from the Underground this evening in the carpark of 59 Wentworth Avenue to see the show and how funky op-shop clothing truly is. Local models, local hair and makeup artists will parade the best clothing the designers found when trawling through boxes, racks and baskets at Vinnie’s warehouse in Tuggeranong for garments, accessories and even props.

Alice Be Curious (ABC) is a super cute women’s fashion and lifestyle boutique nestled in the lane way of the Metropolitan CBD apartment blocks. The boutique’s owner Deejay Jukic has a wicked fashion sense and her eye for style has helped her grow her store into the loved boutique it is today. ABC stocks brands such as Jeffrey Campbell, WISH, Cameo The Label, Finders Keepers, Honey & Beau, Keepsake, Cooper St, House of Harlow and many more.

Help from the Underground fashion show is on tonight in Zoo Advertising’s car park at 7.30pm.

The op-shop fashion parade will raise vital funds for the 1,785 people identified as being homeless in Canberra. This year, they are hoping to raise $36,000, which will go to raising funds for the Vinnie’s CEO Sleepout.

Appalling Behaviour is written and performed by AWGIE award-winning playwright and actor Stephen House immerses the audience in a dark, intense and poetic world of a man living on the very edge in the seedy underworld of Paris.

The cost for an adult is $35, students are $25, a group of four + is $30 each and a concession is $32 each.
