Canberrans Encouraged to Test their Fitness at Floriade

Former Canberra Raiders captain Alan Tongue is calling on Canberrans to take part in the city’s largest ever free outdoor boot camp at Floriade.

The Raiders legend turned fitness instructor will run the free event on Saturday 11 October and is calling on the community to come down and enjoy a workout.

“Spring is such a great time in Canberra and the perfect period of the year to be outdoors and exercising,” Tongue said.

360 – Live at UC Refectory

Four straight hours of hip-hop certainly brings with it a level of fun and energy that can only be attained through amazing artists, an excited and unruly crowd, and a venue like the UC Refectory. The night of the 360 gig, as part of his Australia-wide Utopia tour, boasted a high calibre lineup of five varied hip-hop acts, local and international.

First up, UK’s Lunar C had the difficult job of providing the first music of the night to a small but receptive audience.
